North Korean leader's sister pregnant, reports say

Is North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's sister pregnant? News reports say yes, citing intelligence sources.

Kim Yo-jong, 30, was rumored to be pregnant when she visited South Korea for the opening ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. The rumor was sparked by her enlarged stomach, seen in the silhouette of her winter coat.

Kim, who came as the North Korean leader's special envoy, displayed several signs of pregnancy including avoiding certain foods, according to reports.

The pregnancy is her second, according to rumors following her first in 2015. The South Korean government has confirmed nothing about her pregnancy or marriage status.

While the gender of her first child remains unknown, Kim Yo-jong's husband is speculated to be the son of Choe Ryong-hae, a powerful party secretary and a top Kim Jong-un adviser.

South Korea's spy agency said in 2015 that she married a college friend, but whether it was Choe's son was not revealed.
